To help our clients achieve the weight loss effects they desire, we combine exercises that blast body fat combined with muscle building exercises to help tone and shape the entire body. Successful weight loss requires a balanced combination of cardio and muscle building. Cardio is important for weight loss, as it helps the body shed those extra pounds it’s carrying around. Sweating is important for fat loss too, so we’ll always get you working up a sweat – just remember, sweat is your fat crying!
Muscle building is crucial to weight loss. Some women avoid weights and muscle building exercises as they are afraid it will get them looking too “bulky.” The science of weight loss proves however that muscle building in females actually has the opposite effect. Increasing your muscle mass gives your body a lean, sleek shape that looks amazing once you shed your extra fat. Increasing your muscle tone also reduces cellulite, and increases your metabolism.
Muscle requires more calories than fat does, so the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism. That means that if you replace your body fat with muscle, you’ll be burning more fat even when you’re just sitting on the couch.
